What We Do

Emergency Food Relief & Nutritional Support

We operate food banks and emergency distribution points to assist individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. In Newport, our food relief efforts are coordinated in partnership with local agencies, enabling us to reach people facing temporary or chronic hardship. In rural areas of Congo, where food scarcity is often compounded by infrastructure limitations, we provide culturally appropriate food staples to alleviate hunger and improve nutritional outcomes.

Key Activities

Educational Access & Book Distribution

We believe education is foundational to breaking the cycle of poverty. Our education initiatives include distributing books and learning materials, promoting literacy, and providing supplemental academic support. In communities where access to educational resources is severely limited, we work closely with local schools and leaders to equip students and families with the tools they need to succeed.

Community Engagement and Social Cohesion

We foster social integration and community wellbeing by organising inclusive events and collaborative projects that encourage participation across age groups, ethnicities, and backgrounds. These activities help strengthen community ties, build trust, and promote civic engagement—particularly important in marginalised or post-conflict settings.

Key Activities

Support for Vulnerable and Marginalised Groups

Our outreach services are designed to meet the needs of vulnerable groups including single-parent households, elderly residents, refugees and asylum seekers, and individuals experiencing mental or physical health challenges. We provide direct support, advocacy, and referrals to relevant services, ensuring these individuals are not left behind.

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL)

All programme activities are monitored through regular reporting, beneficiary feedback, and site assessments. We measure impact through both qualitative and quantitative indicators, including service uptake, community engagement levels, and self-reported wellbeing improvements. Insights are used to adapt and improve our programme delivery continuously.

Through this holistic, community-driven approach, we address both the symptoms and root causes of poverty and exclusion. Our work empowers communities to build stronger, healthier, and more resilient futures—locally and globally.
